Anxiety can be a serious medical condition and may require medication. If you are suffering from mild anxiety take it seriously and get to the root of it as soon as possible. Read and apply the principles found in chapter 3 of Thriving in Mind, Body, and Spirit. So much of anxiety stems from us trying to control situations that we have no control over. The serenity prayer helps us to put things in perspective. Physical triggers to anxiety include excess sugar and caffeine and food sensitivities. You should keep a diary and record when you most feel anxious along with how much you’ve slept the night before and things that you’ve eaten. See if there are any obvious patterns, especially with lack of sleep and dietary stimulants. Have your adrenals and thyroid evaluated by a health care practitioners to see if they are out of balance.

1. Consult a health care practitioner immediately for severe anxiety2. I have found that taking extra calcium and magnesium can be helpful to relax muscles. Take 3 Ca/Mg/K ChelaMax at bedtime to help aid in a deeper sleep. If heartburn is an issue take the Liquid Ca/Mg Vanilla instead. 3. If sleep is an issue, which it usually is with anxiety, try a sleep formula such as End Fatigue Sleep Formula, Melatonin, or Cortisol Manager.
