Prawns with Garlic Sauce
This easy and quick dish can be accompanied by a bowl of rice.
- 6 Tbsp. olive oi
- 3 or 4 minced garlic cloves
- 4 tsp. chopped fresh parsely
- 3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/3 cup medium dry sherry
- 3/4 ib. prawns, peeled and deveined with tail left on
- freshly ground pepper to taste
1. In a frying pan heat the oil until hot, add garlic and 2 teaspoons of chopped parsely. Cook until garlic is browned lightly.
2. Stir in lemon juice, the sherry and pepper. Add the prawns and cook them, stirring for 4 to 6 minutes until they are just firm.
3. Transfer to a warm platter and sprinkle the remaining parsley over it.
